The French Collection with Thai Inspirations
Chapter 1 : Silky Soul Sisters
The highlight of a Thai expedition centered around fashion, the royal workshops housing the Queen’s weaving métiers open their doors to us. It is in these places that the traditional silks used in the creation of the Majesté and Rose d'Avril gowns were conceived. After crafting them in France, Romuald Bertrand returns to the origins of the creation to immortalize them.
Chapter 2 : Seven Days
In Thailand, each day of the week is associated with a color, representing a god or a planet. A unique, colorful collection, inspired by this tradition, takes shape in a sensory rainbow.
Chapter 3 : Blue Night
At the foot of a Thai temple, it is in the vibrations of day and night that Blue Night awakens. Water pearls gently placed on the watercolor of an Asian sky with a hundred shades of blue, this creation is meant to be light and ethereal.
Chapter 4 : Lotus Flower
Sacred flowers of Thailand, the lotus inspires a new design. Symbolizing purity and rebirth, the lotus flower reveals in this creation the delicate shades of powdered pink, blending seamlessly with the floral poetry that flows like water.
Chapter 5 : Aphrodite and Calypso
Romuald Bertrand presents two couture pieces, inspired by the paradisiacal beaches of Phuket. The first, ethereal and in shades of azure, captures the lightness of sails fluttering in the wind during a traditional Thai boat crossing. The second, a fluid composition with twilight reflections, evokes the warmth and serenity of sunsets, blending elegance with exoticism.
Chapter 6 : The Sky Hotel
L'Engrenage unveils a dazzling haute couture silhouette, dominating the rooftops of Bangkok. Embodying the perfect balance between Ying and Yang, it harmoniously blends deep blacks with brilliant whites. This piece of refined elegance is revealed against the skyline of the Thai capital.
Chapter 7 : The Princess and the Golden River
A true embodiment of elegance, power, and softness, with a princely silhouette, this wedding dress draws its elegance and history from the Thai Elephant Home, where rescued elephants peacefully roam. Their resilience bestows purity, strength, and lightness upon this creation by L'Engrenage.
Golden River will capture, as night falls, the shimmering lights reflecting on the water, adorned in gold. A tribute to the ancient temples discovered during a journey, the subtly crafted gold brings French chic with an exotic inspiration.
